Our lawyers have handled literally hundreds of cases against lawyers and accountants, and are pre-approved defense counsel for many errors and omissions carriers.

We view this area as a specialty requiring great experience. Defending legal malpractice claims requires strong trial and litigation skills, plus the ability to become quickly familiar with substantive subspecialties ranging from personal injury matters to tax law to corporate law to secured transactions. Defending accountants requires lawyers who know the rules and ethics of the profession and can speak to accountant clients in their language. Representing directors and officers requires particularized knowledge of securities and general corporate law. All professional liability disciplines require a strong background in insurance law as it impacts professional insureds.
