Our focus always remains fixed on achieving the best solution from a business perspective in a cost-effective manner. Sometimes, the best solution is achieved through pre-litigation planning or alternative dispute resolution. Our partners have substantial experience in this area. Sometimes, there is no alternative to litigation. The number of cases our partners have tried is far greater than the number of cases tried by the vast majority of attorneys practicing in this area. The fact that our opposition knows our trial record is a great help in achieving favorable settlements without the necessity of trial.

We have learned over the decades of our practice that each case and each client deserves representation that is tailored to the particular matter at hand. In many cases, we represent Fortune 500 companies involved in litigation with extremely high stakes. The opposition frequently has substantial resources and employs teams of lawyers from large firms. In such cases, we assemble a team consisting of a number of lawyers and paralegals, led in a very hands-on way by one of our seasoned partners. The associates on the teams are all experienced - we do not hire fresh law school graduates and train them at our clients' expense. We employ the latest litigation technology. Our large case teams are second to none from any firm, large or small. However, while many law firms automatically assemble a team of lawyers for every case - largely for their own revenue and training reasons - we have learned that in many cases, a single partner or a partner and one associate focusing on a case can more effectively handle it, and at significantly less expense. It is our clients' needs that dictate how we handle a case - not our own.
